Below are details of my old production studio setup. I'm currently (mid-2006) building a new setup based more heavily on a PC with some fresh new kit!
I used to run Cakewalk Pro Audio 6 on a PC as my main MIDI sequencer, however, I was fortunate enough to try out Cubase VST 5 on a Mac G3 and I have not looked back since!
I have always preferred hardware kit instead of virtual software synths but since I've started using VST 5 I have been converted and I now have a hunger for a bigger and better computer so that I can start running some serious "virtual gear". Even the standard VST instruments that come with Cubase sound great!
